How to get to the Regional Authority of the Moravian-Silesian Region:

Via municipal transport

  • take bus number 910670 to the Ostrava stop, ÚAN, cross over to the stop on Náměstí Republiky and take any tram one stop in the direction of Ostrava-Poruba, or go to the regional authority on foot, approximately 700 m
  • on municipal transport line no. 33, go to the final stop at Dubina Interspar and transfer to tram no. 12, which will take you to stop at the Regional Authority.

By bus

From the central bus station (ÚAN), cross over to the stop on Náměstí Republiky and take any tram one stop in the direction of Ostrava-Poruba, or go to the regional authority on foot, approximately 700 m.

By train

If you arrive by train at:

  • the Main Station, use the municipal transport system. Tram no. 8 will take you all the way to the Regional Authority stop.
  • the Ostrava-Svinov Station, use the municipal transport system. Tram nos. 4, 8 or 9 (in the direction of Ostrava City Centre) will take you all the way to the Regional Authority stop.
  • the Ostrava-Vítkovice Station, use the municipal transport system. Tram no. 11 in the direction of Ostrava City Centre) will take you all the way to the Regional Authority stop.
  • the Ostrava-Střed Station, take any tram from Náměstí Republiky one stop in the direction of Ostrava-Poruba, or go to the regional authority on foot, approximately 800 m.

By air

If you leave the airport in a personal automobile, take Highway I/58 to the lighted intersection at the Ostrava-Jih Town Hall (Plzeňská and Horní Streets). Continue along the main road (Plzeňské) to the lighted intersection at u Vodárny. From there, turn right onto 28 Ríjna Street, which will take you to the Regional Authority. See map.
