Archeopark Chotěbuz

The most significant historical artefacts of the period include e.g. glass paste beads, iron axes and soft graphitized pottery. The second stage of the settlement falls to the Slavic period. During this period a massive fortified settlement was gradually established there which served as a power and business centre, where the social elite of that time probably settled. The evidence is the archaeological findings dug out during many years of surveys implemented by the Těšín Regional Museum in cooperation with the Academy of Science of the Czech Republic in Brno.
