Fortifications and Bunkers in Darkovičky

The Opava section of the fortification falling under ŽSV IV should have been extremely widespread upon its completion. It included the area between fortifications "Smolkov" in the east and "Orlík" in the west. The target condition of course was not attained in 1938. It particularly related to the heavy fortification, where only 26 log cabins were built in the eastern part of the section in September 1938 of the planned number of nearly 90 log cabins. The light fortification was in much better condition and its lines formed the main defence zone at the places of the missing heavy fortification.
