The Native House of S. Freud in Pøíbor
The museum is guided (by means of an audiovisual system) by the voice of Freud “himself”. Visitors are acquainted with specific data from his personal and professional life in individual rooms, which creates the atmosphere of a closer relationship of a visitor to the place, where he was born. The exposition wants to introduce Sigmund Freud as a “normal” person with a normal relationship to everyday life. The plot of the exposition is built on a fictitious personal story of a person who returns to his native Pøíbor at the end of his life. He allows us to look into his mind and we are able to understand the methods of his work more easily.
