Štramberk Trúba

The urban set of folk architecture consisting of timbered houses from the 18th and the 19th century, the majority of which form the town monument preserve is unrepeatable architectural unique premises. Štramberk became famous for a sweet–smelling confectionary product – gingerbread “Štramberk Ears”, which have been manufactured here for long centuries as a reminder of the legendary victory of Štramberk Christians over the Mongolian army on 8 May, the evening before the Ascension.
