Technical Museum Petřvald

The Museum in Petřvald has been a branch of the Těšín Regional Museum since 1997. It was placed in a former presbytery at the Roman Catholic Church of St. Henry in Petřvald u Karviné. In 1983 a museum focused on the mining traditions was established in the presbytery. The present expositions and exhibitions of this museum were made in cooperation of the Těšín Regional Museum with the technical Museum in Brno, the Ostrava Museum, OKD, a.s., the Mining Museum in Ostrava-Petřkovice and many other related institutions.
